Founded by Smt. Susheelamma H.C., Spandana Oncology Centre stands as an extraordinary example of dedication and human purpose. Coming from a humble farming background, a school dropout, and a homemaker from rural Karnataka, she transformed her personal hardships into a mission to help families facing cancer. With a deep desire to honour the memory and dreams of her husband, Shri Chirdoni Tungappa, she envisioned a centre where people from villages and small towns — often lost in the complexity of healthcare — could find dignity, guidance, and world-class treatment without fear or confusion.

Her journey reminds us that great institutions are not built by privilege, but by purpose.
